The girl updates in pairs of two days now
May. 12th, 2004 04:37 amIn like... 5 hours I get up. In 6 I go airport. In 8 I get on plane. In 13 I will be in Philly, except I will think it is 16 due to time zones. Wonder in how many hours it be till cheesesteak and Tastykakes I do eat.
I'm a real idiot. Been laundrying and packing and mostly sitting on Puzzle Pirates chatting with my crewmate Aralyn (who is actually a guy). I should be sleeping but I am not. Ugh.
Went to a restaurant called Brasa tonight with Dave Quinn and Brian Grunkemeyer. It was a crazy expensive Spanish restaurant but all I ate was risotto so it wasn't too bad for me. But the guys got all these gratuitous appetizers with weird cheeses and whatnot and they got drinks and so... well, anyway, it was fun hanging out with them and catching up on life and whatnot. Dave told me how a few years back he too quit his job and just hung out for the summer. Says it's a great idea :) Everything was fun except that parking downtown is a pain and I had no change so I parked in a place that said it cost $8 and I put in like $7.65 and hoped I wouldn't get towed. I didn't. Whee.
Ran some errands earlier. Stopped by Blue C for some sushi, too.
Monday we went to Quiz night, which was fun. We had seven people because all of the usual suspects showed up and I invited Casey to come. I think we all had fun anyway though. Wossname (Evan?) who reads the questions was doing his last week of it since Declan will be back from Ireland next week, so Evan had written his own quiz for once. The last part was a link question and it turned out to be Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, which was really crazy funny. I approve.
My character on Puzzle Pirates has 8/9 Ultimates now. I wanna cry. I can't seem to push my Nav up to an Ult.
Anyway, I just put my Japan pics on my Devil Duckie USB thingy so I can bring them to Philly to show my dad. Now I should pack and sleep and things like that.
