just an update on what I did yesterday

I went to work, then I went to the Mariners game. It was good, we mauled Detroit again 13-3, we were up 9-0 in the first inning this time. Bloomquist went 4-for-5 and I was wearing my Bloomquist shirt, so go him. Olerud got another home run!!!! :) I got to see Hasegawa pitch an inning. Soriano struck out 6 guys in a row. Boone didn't do so well and threw a temper tantrum and they replaced him in the 7th inning (I have a rant about this but I'll save it for some other time). Ichiro also got replaced in the 6th and it's unclear whether it was just due to the overwhelming lead, or because he took a nasty fall making a catch and somersaulted over Mike Cameron. I feel bad for John Mabry so I'm going to cheer for him more. My seat was again amazing, if anything it was better than yesterday's despite being 9 rows back. Also, you know, the Tigers batting lineup is almost entirely left-handed or switch hitters. I didn't notice that Tuesday but apparently Meche was like "WTF? 9 lefties? AAAIIEEEE!" Moyer of course didn't care as much, but... that's so weird, you'd think that a big team of lefties might really throw off some pitchers. I guess it only works if they're lefties with TALENT though.

Sadly my stomach had been bugging me all day and it didn't get any better with the game, nor when I went home, so I sat around feeling crappy for most of the evening. At one point I tried to make myself throw up but then I remembered how much I hate throwing up and choked the effort back, so to speak. Eventually I got to sleep figuring I'd be better in the morning. I wasn't better in the morning. I took some Tylenol and I do feel a bit better now so I'm going to go to work in a little while. No, I'm not going to the Mariners game today. Much as it's refreshing to watch them beat down the Tigers, it almost makes me feel BAD for the Tigers when they fumble plays or whatnot.

Anyway, one of the things I did while goofing off hating my stomach was look at cosplay pics so I can update my DDR costume site. And this is the COOLEST COSPLAYER EVER (if you don't know why, maybe you didn't se this.) No, it's not DDR, but it's close enough.

A little more about the choices:
1) if I go to California I'll go to angelbob's party, and hang out with zqfmbg and go to SVGL and MGL and play IIDX 9th and...

2) I have no ride to Eugene or Portland for the tournament. I don't think anyone cares whether I go except maybe Tyler (Dyaus) and diskozombie and I think Pete and I have vaguely talked each other out of going anyway. I was really looking forward to a Standard tournament but...

3) This is REALLY a pipe dream. I'd love to go see T.M.Revolution perform, and I hate to miss Otakon, but... well, we'll see. I might go look into plane flights on a whim anyway. Maybe I could fly to Pittsburgh and see if anyone wants to make a road trip from there :)

4) Eli hasn't been to Vancouver, and if we're going to do touristy stuff there we might as well go while it's warm.

5) Megan says it's a nice weekend trip... the question is whether we want to go now or go later in the year to avoid the crowds. Shrug.

6) I'm a big dork.

The thing is that if I go to California or Baltimore I have to decide like NOW so I can get plane tickets. The others I could just decide pretty much like, that Friday. So, I dunno.
