A little more about the choices:
1) if I go to California I'll go to angelbob's party, and hang out with zqfmbg and go to SVGL and MGL and play IIDX 9th and...

2) I have no ride to Eugene or Portland for the tournament. I don't think anyone cares whether I go except maybe Tyler (Dyaus) and diskozombie and I think Pete and I have vaguely talked each other out of going anyway. I was really looking forward to a Standard tournament but...

3) This is REALLY a pipe dream. I'd love to go see T.M.Revolution perform, and I hate to miss Otakon, but... well, we'll see. I might go look into plane flights on a whim anyway. Maybe I could fly to Pittsburgh and see if anyone wants to make a road trip from there :)

4) Eli hasn't been to Vancouver, and if we're going to do touristy stuff there we might as well go while it's warm.

5) Megan says it's a nice weekend trip... the question is whether we want to go now or go later in the year to avoid the crowds. Shrug.

6) I'm a big dork.

The thing is that if I go to California or Baltimore I have to decide like NOW so I can get plane tickets. The others I could just decide pretty much like, that Friday. So, I dunno.

If you fly into Pittsburgh, you are welcome to ride to Baltimore with me and TJ. I'm leaving on Thursday and returning on Sunday.

As for a room, I'm staying in staff rooms so I can't help. TJ is staying with some of his friends, but they might have floor space if you don't know anyone else going to Otakon, but I'm sure you know someone.

The Olympic Penninsula is really cool, but i was starting to get excited about going with you later in the year....

I think you should take Eli to Vancouver - i'll bet its nice up there right now. There is a park, with ducks.

If you were going to the east coast for the weekend, i would say that you shouldn't spend 10 of those hours in a car between pgh and baltimore.

Haha, that's really tempting, especially the Saturday afternoon one because Noah's party starts sometime Saturday afternoon... do you already have tickets or were you just sort of planning on going there and getting genadmission or something?

We already have tickets; i'll know where they are soon, but they're probably in the cheap seats since they're comps (from a friend who works at mlb.com).

The Giants website currently shows the upper level seats and standing-room-only tickets still available.

oh. i should have said "do you have extra tickets?" then or something. hmm. i've never been to pacific bell park though. that would be kinda exciting. and i haven't been to a phillies game with you since 1994. i dunno. i AM leaning towards california for that weekend though. whee!
