I ran into Paul at the bus stop this morning again, so we talked on the bus. He stopped in at Specialty's for a cinnamon roll for breakfast, but I decided it would be too much sugar for me and didn't get one, remarking that I barely ever go there and should more often. Ok. Around 12:30 my phone rings... Paul says, "Hey, let's go to Specialty's for lunch so you can learn the sandwiches," and I go "ok," and go towards downstairs... running into Binde in the elevator, and she goes "Hey, I'm going for a sandwich at Specialty's, wanna come along?" and I reply "That must be the question of the day. I'm on my way to meet Paul for exactly that." So Melissa and Paul and I had lunch together outside Specialty's. It was good, and they are fun to talk to.
I actually got work done today, although it wasn't what I planned. It was good though. I went home a little earlyish and we went to Quiz Night, where it was just me and Eli, Josh, and H.P. I tried to call

shimmeringjemmy, but my cell was bad or hers was or both of our hearing and so she couldn't understand that I was saying "come to a trivia night about ten blocks from where you live..." oh well. Huh, I should visit Joy and Ezzie and Jarrett and all sometime, too, or more like, they should visit us, since they haven't seen our house. Yeah. Anyway, quiz night was funny. We thought we had SO many questions right... we were guessing like 26-30 right out of 40. Boy, were we wrong. We got like 18. It was pretty bad. But we felt really good about all of our answers/guesses... Two teams tied for first with 25 right. One was "Amazion", which my friend Colin and other Amazon people are on! We didn't stay to hear the tiebreaker, but I'll have to remember to ask him tomorrow who won. (Hey, looks like the Mariners won tonight, too!)
I've been unpacking my videogame stuff before I continue to build more IKEA stuff, so I have more room in the living room to build things. Let me tell you, every time I have to actually deal with my console crap, it reminds me that no human being really needs anywhere near as many controllers as I have. They don't even all fit into one drawer anymore!
Tomorrow night there's some mad Bemani action going on at IZ. I think I want to go, even though it will be really crowded... hopefully I can meet new people and have fun. If nothing else, I can shadow Para Para and learn some new dances, I hope!
