home, where my thoughts escape me
Jan. 6th, 2002 12:15 amwell, after 11 hours on the road (and half an hour of trips to the car and back to drag everything to our apartment), eli and i are back here in the burgh.
i finished knitting my first sock on the road (kitchener stitch is COOL once you get the hang of it) and an inch or two of a second one. Read another 50 pages of the third LOTR book, but after a while I got sick of reading by flashlight. Mostly I listened to music and sang songs and stuff. Whee.
not much else to say. I guess we'll unpack tomorrow. Also, my throat hurts.
