home, where my thoughts escape me
well, after 11 hours on the road (and half an hour of trips to the car and back to drag everything to our apartment), eli and i are back here in the burgh.
i finished knitting my first sock on the road (kitchener stitch is COOL once you get the hang of it) and an inch or two of a second one. Read another 50 pages of the third LOTR book, but after a while I got sick of reading by flashlight. Mostly I listened to music and sang songs and stuff. Whee.
not much else to say. I guess we'll unpack tomorrow. Also, my throat hurts.
