for
firesplace and
megami - furry 5k

At the Race For The Cure on Saturday, we saw people handing out fliers for the Furry 5k race. No, it has nothing to do with the furry fandom, it's actually for an animal shelter. I'm feeling so ambitious about doing more long walks. It looks like you're allowed to walk or run this one. If there's anyone who will commit to walking this with me, I'll do it. It's next Sunday at 10am (registration is at 8, and it's like $15 per person if you don't care whether you get a t-shirt). It sounds like a lot of people will do the race with their dogs, which could either be super-cool or super-annoying, I'm not sure which.
So yeah. I have no idea if Megan or Heidi would want to do this one too, or if Rumi or Fire were serious about it, or if anyone else would want to. I've never been to Seward Park and I like the idea of walking for a cause, even if I don't go all gung-ho and get sponsors and whatnot.
Let me know :)
