old t-shirts
Heh. I just came across a box with a few old t-shirts in it:
- Class of '88 from Comly Elementary
- Class of '90 from Baldi Middle School
- Washington High School gym shirt
- "ZWEBLO" t-shirt (from the comic Greg/Spinn drew in the Drexel Triangle, heh,
dhpdesign, do you still have one?)
- REM Out of Time middle east tour joke shirt (with REM in Hebrew... I blame
thistleshush)
- REM Reconstruction III tour shirt
I hate that I'm unable to get rid of old stuff sometimes, but I'm still going to hang on to these anyway for the t-shirt quilt I have to make someday.
Man. Zweblo. I have that and a Shpi-dahh! shirt too, though I can't seem to find my ;) shirt anymore... which is a shame, as a LOT of people remember me wearing that shirt back in the day. Whoosh.
I also went through and threw out a lot of old stuff in another box, and found a cache of old baseball tickets from Philly and Pittsburgh, including "TMR Day" at the Vet, August 10, 1993. I should see if I can find the picture of
shandrew and Lohi and Hubie and Udo and all holding up a big painted sheet that said "PUT US ON TV AND THE PHILS WILL WIN". That *was* the year they made it to the World Series, after all... I wonder how the hell Jerry "TMR" Hsu's doing anyway... his sister Jen (aka Smoo) has been living in Seattle for the last few months now and I still haven't seen her, mostly because I think it'd be weird since the last time I saw her I think she was in sixth grade, and now she's like, 2-3 years out of graduating from Berkeley. How time flies.

Still have my ;) shirt
The question is whether it will ever be obviously old enough to be amusing again
