okonomiyaki!
Possible new name for my bear: Teddy Beardado. Because he's a southpaw and you just want to hug him closer and closer. (ok, so maybe only
laurel and
gomezticator might be amused by that one)
Okay, anyway, I dunno. Today sucked. It started well enough, aside from me oversleeping... but work was going well until I hit a bug in some code and kept banging my head against it, pretty much until
oren picked me up and we got
zml and went to dinner at like 7:30pm.
Today we went to Koji Osakaya down by the Harbor Steps, which I had been to once before for
damienroc's birthday two years ago. It's really really good, though, even better than I remembered (I think I was pretty out of it that time because of the big group of strangers, I hadn't met most of the Tacoma crowd before then). Zach and Oren had various seafood donburi, and I had miso katsudon. Miso katsu! I hadn't had that since I was in Gifu two years ago with
the2belo. It was pretty good. We also all shared some okonomiyaki and I had a eel-avocado roll that was fantastic. And there was sumo wrestling on TV, and green tea tempura ice cream for dessert, though I didn't eat any.
We all went separate ways after dinner. I was hoping my new computer would be here when I got home, but apparently 3-5 days means 5 days in this case; the tracking says they expect to deliver it on March 1. I had to go to the supermarket, but made a deal with myself that I'd clean up enough around the apartment to fill a garbage bag first, then go downstairs. So I picked up a ton of stuff and papers from all over and brought it into the computer area, where I spent 45 minutes watching another episode of Summer Snow, and sorting things into garbage and relevant stuff like W-2 forms. Then I went to the supermarket. Exciting, I know. I think I'll watch another episode of SS, then try to fall asleep. Whee.

Yaarr, reppazentin' the 東海地方. How did it turn out? I've never eaten that anywhere outside of the country, so I'm obviously curious.....

Other bear names, depending on one's chosen team: A.J. Bearnett, Aubeary Huff, Jason Bearitek, Mark Texibeara, Beary Zito, Bearnie Williams (the least-objectionable Yankee), Michael Cuddle-yer, Beartolo Colon, Bearandon Inge, Jhonny Bearalta, Mark Bearle, Miguel Teddjada, and Bearemy Affeldt.
I'll do the NL when I get bored enough with my work.
