I decided to write a "cast of characters" thingy for LJ for people on my friends list who keep asking me who other people on my friends list are. I wonder if I'll manage to keep it updated.

Is this a good idea or a bad idea?

Interesting. Zarcana is not in the new Playing with Pyramids book. It has been replaced with Gnostica.
