This post is not *really* about baseball
Roger Clemens is going to pitch for Houston next year. Whoa. I guess
mdw will be pretty happy about that, although
zaph will probably be pretty unhappy about that. (Note: suddenly the Cubs are going after Greg Maddux?) Steinbrenner also seems to be unhappy about that. Actually, my only thought is, of course... it'll be great to see Pettitte and Clemens having to *hit*. National League, yo!
Other short thoughts this morning:
1) It is really hard to write a parody of a rap song when you don't actually have a copy of said rap song.
2) Sometimes when your brain and your heart are arguing, it's best to just listen to your stomach.
3) I shoulda probably put an "either" option in that last poll, but I was heading to sleep and forgot.

On the other hand, Pettitte might actually have an advantage being left-handed. Who knows. It'll still be interesting to see. Once upon a time they had pitchers like Walter Johnson who got 42 hits in 97 season at bats in 1925 for a scorching .433 batting average. Bet we'll never see that again... (and no, he was a righty.)

Nah, he's not that old. About four years younger than Jamie Moyer, putting him in his late 30's. Pitchers can pitch a lot longer than position players can play.
