yo. I met you on ddial, in 1992 or so? I talked to you because you knew Adrian. You were cool and were in to the same stuff I was and fun to talk to and were entertaining. Then I mudded a lot with you. First time I met you in person was some time later when we went to play pool in NE philly. For some reason, back then i didn't know what to say to you in person so I didn't say much. I remember that you weren't very good at pool because you'd always pick up the cue before you hit the ball :)

you know, i think that time i played pool with you guys was like, my second time ever playing pool. no joke.

did i really not meet you before then? i thought i first met you at a programming meet, like st. joe's or lasalle or something. although you're probably right, that pool thing was probly the first time we met. i didn't really know what to say either to be honest. i knew you were this awesome guy from online that i had insanely tons of stuff in common with, but it never occurred to me that i would have any idea what to say to you in real life :)

mudding with you is still my example of what i think online multiplayer games should be like. I never ever ever play MMORPGs. This puzzle pirates thing is an anomaly and it's only because i know some people on it. So we can hang out there AND kick ass and play puzzle games. I always say how that MUD stuff was like "well, we could chat there instead of elsewhere... and we could beat up monsters at the same time!"

i also remember going to the phillies game with you... "PUT US ON TV AND THE PHILS WILL WIN". and other stuff. i don't know why though, in highschool i was just so crazy shy around all of you smart UDHS people.
