The way I met you online was by going through the dearly-loved, sadly-missed "Most similar interests to yours" list here on LJ. Out of the top 20 or 30, apart from people who were on my Friends list already, there were only about three or four interesting journals. Yours was one of them.

We both write long detailed entries, and often I'm not sure what to reply to yours, but you've been one of the few complete strangers on LJ to add me as a friend that it totally made sense, like I could imagine us being really good friends if we didn't live half a world away from each other. So I am glad you did add me!
