Hmm, a weird day. I accomplished stuff in that I wrote things I meant to write, though I probably could have gotten even more stuff done. I also ran errands in the afternoon -- I felt so lazy because I drove to the supermarket instead of walking. Thing is that I would have had to carry back a whole bunch of stuff walking a mile and just didn't feel like it. Sooooo lazy.

In the evening I went up to hang out with Django and Konstantin. Carl tagged along home with Kon from work, so the four of us went to dinner at Canyons, and I had fajitas! Wheeee. Chalk one more up to Deanna stuffing her face. We hung out at their house for a while after dinner just talking and stuff. I'd promised Carl a ride home after that, and so I basically ended up making a big loop around the lake, as I drove north to Django's house, then west to Ballard, and then back southeast here to Samammish.

Then, watched Koshien a bit -- Konan vs. Naruto, Konan won 9-0. So happy to see Yosuke Shimabukuro pitching again, still so sad and bitter about how we got rained out at Senbatsu for two days this spring and so I didn't get to see him there.

I also finally started making some reservations for my big planned train trip thingy when I go back to Japan -- Akita and Morioka the nights of the Fighters games there, and Hiroshima and Matsuyama the days I have tickets to baseball games there too. Guess I should figure out what to do about Kagawa/Tokushima, and then also whether to hang out in Sapporo an extra day or to go wandering somewhere else on the baseball off day. Am thinking it might not be a bad idea to go to Yamagata just to go there, because god knows I have no reason to ever go there anyway, and cross it off my prefectures list. (I've still never really been to Fukushima prefecture, but I don't think it'd be out of the question to just take a 3-hour train trip to Koriyama sometime in the fall, possibly for a hockey game like I did with Nikko last year. Yamagata is a bit further out of the way.)
