On second thought, I am thinking of going to Niigata for the weekend of June 25-27! I still want to see the new ballpark there (the "Hard-Off Eco Stadium"), and going to an indie league game may be my best bet at this rate, assuming it doesn't rain out. I dunno. Still thinking, still waffling on sending email to friends in Sapporo anyway. I think I'll definitely be going to Sapporo in August.
As for the rest of this week, I went to the Keio-Toin game on Wednesday, Japanese class on Thursday, and tonight I bummed around in Akihabara for a few hours after work. Japanese class is tough and mostly it is that I don't study hard enough and I feel terrible about it. Akihabara was partly Yodobashi and partly looking in Book-Off and such. I got Indian food for dinner at the new place on the 8th floor of Yodobashi. I had chicken tikka masala and nan, and it cost Y1250 total and was really pretty damn tasty.
I keep rewatching the DVD of the 2008 Fall semester of the Tokyo Big 6 baseball that I bought and it makes me want to cry. It was a great semester to be sure, but oh man were some people morons about blowing out their arms.
Tomorrow will be more college ball, not sure what after that. I was invited to go watch the Big 6 College Bands play a concert in the afternoon, but I think I can't actually watch baseball tomorrow if I go to that, and I'd really rather watch baseball than baseball marching bands. Plus OMG tomorrow is Keio vs. Tokai and Hachinohe vs. Toyo. I would have been happier with Hokkaido vs. Toyo but still -- it's always fun to get to see college players that I don't usually get to see. I just have to wake up early enough to get a good seat. Whee!
