at an internet cafe outside the tokyo dome

i was too lazy to get up for the afternoon game of the asia series today and didn't know anyone going anyway. did a little laundry and stuff around the house.

now i am in an internet cafe right by suidobashi station. too smoky. must leave asap. only here 30 minutes anyway. had to send a file to geos and reply to a few emails, and see pictures of my brother's new daughter!

last night i did infact get off the train at Jujo and walk to Akabane. it took 30 minutes. i got kinda lost. it was awesome though, totally would do again, should do on bike instead sometime actually. Met Jeff, got cheap Japanese food at Nakau, etc.

okay, and then I should head back to the Tokyo Dome for the series. wheeeee.

at a bizarre internet thingy in akabane

this is not really an internet cafe... this is a "relaxation" place.  I am pretty convinced that the reason you come to this place is to watch porn, or to sleep for 4-5 hours in place of a hotel.  I don't think I will bother coming back here again.  Just figured since it's an internet place near akabane station, I would go check it out.  I unplugged their lan cable and plugged it into my laptop, hehe.

unfortunately the reason i'm here is because mcdonald's was remodelling or something and wasn't open.  grrrr

anyway tonight I went to see the Asia Series.  saved a bunch of seats in the outfield, eventually sat with Simon, Simon's dad, and Pau.  we cheered the seibu lions and they lost 4-3 to the korean SK Wyverns.  go figure.  tomorrow I'll go back and watch both games of the day I hope.
