up too late etc
Oct. 21st, 2004 04:43 amI am up because I'm being dumb and Photoshopping a few pictures instead of sleeping. Ugh. On the other hand my Philly PP meet pics are in a directory now and I even did one of those silly putting yellow names over everyone's head things.
Yesterday was work, and afterwards I went to Blue C for dinner with Chris. They had Inu Yasha on the big wall, and we were a little late so the belt was getting cleared off by the time we left. After dinner I came home and did the most grueling merchant run I've ever done in PP - Turtle to Jorvik to Luthien to Nuptial to Zeta to Ostreum to Wrasse to Guava to Cnossos to Winter to Alpha to Byrne to Papaya to Turtle, picking up stuff at EVERY island all along the way. It took me around 5 hours, especially when I lost network for half an hour in the middle. The worst was getting attacked between Byrne-Alpha, and losing like... 40 weld, 30 elderberries, a pokeweed, a few other assorted things, and when I attacked back (it was an orange ship, too) I only recovered like 1/10th of that. Ugh. One fight loss sucks SO much in a trip like that. On the other hand I think I have a decent amount of supplies for my apoth with the new release. We shall see.
Today was more work. Around 5pm I turned on the last ALCS game and MAN, was that a doozy. By the end of it I gave up on work and just watched the game. My boss actually came over and watched the last inning with me, at 9pm or whenever, so hey. And wow! Yay Red Sox :)
I stopped by Whole Foods on the way home, yummy, and then went into PP to move another boat and do some more experimenting. I hope they implement ship locks soon because I moved all my ships to alts for now instead... just getting sick of people moving my trade ships off the islands they're on. Anyway, hehe, Weaver came and hung out with me for a while and he always makes me laugh so much. There was a thread in the forum about the whole McPirate thing and he wrote "I wouldn't mess with Jan though, you know. She misread the sign as '99 Billion Severed' and seems to have taken it to heart."
Ah well. Up too late again... sigh... it's an endless cycle in some ways...
