Thursday/Friday (backdated)
Sep. 17th, 2004 11:59 pmLet's see, I suck at updating all of a sudden.
There isn't that much to say about Thursday though. I did finally get to Blue C sushi for dinner is about the only super-exciting thing that happened. It was good. I hadn't been there in a few weeks at that point so I went over alone and they were playing Robotech on the big screen. I think that was the night I came home and there was a blockade going on, the Buri trio or whatever, and on a whim Chernabog and I decided to go into the Oyster blockade, where we took in a sloop and he navved and I gunned/sailed and we actually got some shots off on RD's ship. Go us.
Friday, I drove around Redmond a bit for lunch - ended up getting Jamba Juice and some sandwiches from QFC. Another thing I learned on Friday is about the existence of koshergiftbaskets.com when I got a package in the mail from my mommy with apples and honey and cookies for Rosh Hashanah. Whee. (This is the part where I admit I had totally forgotten it was Rosh Hashanah and you all laugh at me.)
After work on Friday I headed over to Illusionz. I took a back route (520 East to 148th down to 90) and I think it was marginally less annoying than 405. Maybe. Anyway, I met up with Farren and Thunderbird to hang out. I mostly played PNM of course with a few scattered DDR games, and Farren played PNM taking turns with me and some ITG. There were these annoying teenagers there, this one kid was being all "cool" like he knew it all about PNM (but it became really obvious really quickly that he didn't know shit). I really don't deal well with teenagers to begin with, and smartass teenagers get two strikes against them.
But anyway, we had fun playing PNM. I passed something new, but I forget what it was.
Tanya and Charlie and Laura and Amber showed up right about when I was ready to go home, so I stayed a bit longer to talk to them for a while, and maybe Tanya and I will get lunch later this week since she works so close to where I work. Yay.
I came home from IZ and joined Kui's pillage, but nobody would let me carp OR gun and I just got really annoyed and closed the client and went into the other room and went to sleep. It was like 12:30am. Go me.
