I have no title and I must post

I cannot believe I didn't have a Pop'n'Music icon.

Today I went to work (lunch from Subway, I found my card, go me) and at least checked out and checked in some webpages and fixed them and stuff. I would have even started on fixing code files except my machine broke on the build again. So instead I wrote some perl scripts to parse doxygen errors.

I went to Illusionz after work on a whim, mostly to play Pop'n'Music. Chris Danford was there! I saw him "debugging" the ITG machine, which is to say, he and Hyunsuk were playing a ton of songs and whatnot. Tada was there too, and some other people I don't know. I spent 90% of my time playing PNM, with maybe a game of PPP and 2 games of DDR. I think I want to go write an FAQ on Pop'n'Music 5 Arcade. Maybe go to IZ sometime with a timecard and just play and play for hours.

Anyway, the cool thing is that I looked up the Secret codes on my cellphone, so I got to play new songs in PNM 5! I beat all the ones I played, too - Enka Remix, Neo Aco Remix, Girly Remix, Positive, and BEST OF ALL I BEAT LESSON HYPER WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I was so psyched to play Pop-Step-Up but I knew it's too hard for me, it's a level 30. Well... I decided to stop thinking that way and I beat it my second time. And my third. And my fourth. Oh man! 9478 1362! Wooooo best code ever. I was also kinda trying some PNM freestyling out since nobody was around. I think I could probly do a pretty amusing dance to "In A Grow" and sing the song into a water bottle microphone or something.

Got home in time for 10pm OCL brawl - they really didn't need me anyway since the opposition only had 2 people. Another person defected from BD today. I have no scuppering clue what's up with the crew. Chern stymies me as usual; he's just so negative lately. I went sailing with Rome because I was bored and he was training greenies. That was a lot of fun. I kinda miss greenies and at the same time, I really don't.

I ran out to Safeway for a bit and I got Jello mix. I just realized I have absolutely no idea why I got Jello mix.

Yay, Random mailed me back, apparently they do have some controllers in stock at Ransai. I foresee a very large Himeya order in my future :)

Funny. A year ago, on September 1st at 2pm, I was about an hour into the sky on my way to Japan for a week.

The more disconnected I feel here, the more I wonder if I should seriously look into spending some significant time living and working over there. I don't think I'd want to teach English though, so I'll have to come up with something else.

I think too much for my own good.
