Friday Saturday Sunday
May. 3rd, 2004 05:33 pmI hate this funk I get into where I'm like "I haven't updated in a day, now I have to make the effort to write twice as much," and then I don't write, and then I write crazy long entries that annoy everyone.
Anyway, Friday:
We did not go downtown to Pirate's Plunder. Instead we went to Northgate, where we found out that the WOTC store had actually closed before then, not on that day. Oh well. Grabbed food from the food court, and Jason grabbed a copy of Advance Wars 2 from the EB, and then I dragged him to Greenlake and made him walk around and look at ducks with me. We saw a bunch of ducklings! Ducklings are THE cutest thing on the planet!
We watched the sunset over the lake and then went to Half Price Books so I could go look at the movies and he could go look for a cheap book to read on the plane. In the end, he didn't find a book and I gave him my copy of "How Much For Just the Planet" by John M. Ford to read. Oh well.
Came home, intended to play board games, ended up going through games and staying up until 3am singing along to the original Animaniacs album.
Saturday:
Woke up; Jason packed up his stuff and I took him to the airport. Whee.
Went to Safeco to exchange some baseball tickets after that; there was some sort of rally going on there. I just sort of ignored it and exchanged tickets. Sorry if I wasn't supposed to do that, but I was really out of it.
Met up with DJ at Blue C for some sushi. Mm, sushi.
It was really warm out so I goofed off at home; was in for one round of the Looterati blockade on Jorvik, and then went to Nykkel's.
At Nykkel's I played the Pop'n'Music card game with Matt and Rumi, and watched people play Katamari, which is a really scary videogame where the whole point is to roll around and gather stuff to you and roll around more. Meep. After that there was pizza and a long game of Citadels, and I think we all left shortly after that. My mind is going. I went home and meant to do more blockade, but they had called off the blockades due to server booches. Oops.
Sunday:
Huh, I didn't do much. Went to Sunset for a game or two of DDR, did a blockade round or two with my crew (we ended up at Guava instead of Jorvik, helping out RR), went to Eli's house for Sunday dinner, came home, wasted more time on PP.
Not much today either. All the ratings are screwed up in the Ruby arch now. Jeff dropped by completely randomly but I had just woken up so I wasn't particularly entertaining. I did empty out another box of stuff and started a "goodwill" box so that's good, maybe tomorrow I'll start actually getting rid of stuff.
My birthday is this Friday and I still can't decide what to do for it.
