Yesterday:
Woke up early to go out to Redmond to go to Ann and Jacob's place for volleyball and swimming )

Eli and I got food at Red Mill for lunch and it was really good, and we hung out at home for a little, and then I headed up to kenmore )

Well, Eli was over at Wim and Kylee's and then going to a party later, so I was alone for the day at 5:30pm. I debated calling people up, but then decided I'd rather go shopping. In order the rest of the day had me going from Kenmore to Central Market, home, Gary's Games, Leilani Lanes (to check out their new DDR machine), Best Buy, home, Sushi Express, and Half Price Books. shopping'n'stuff )

Came home, Eli was still out, it was still too hot in the house and I am all sunburned horribly, so I felt too sick and tired to do anything at all. Threw some laundry in the machine and settled down to watch School Ties, which was okay, I guess. It was mostly interesting to remember what a lot of those actors (Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Chris O'Donnell, Brendan Fraser, Tony Rapp, etc) were like 10+ years ago. I thought the plot was stupid but the acting was pretty good all things considered. And I ate my fruit salad and you know, there's nothing like cold fruit salad on a hot summer evening.

So that was yesterday. I'm sunburned a lot. I slept like 13 hours because I fell over around 12:30am and just slept, which is why I didn't write this yesterday. Today I'm going to go to work for a few hours and then go to a party in Bellevue. I hope I can stay awake for it though. Whee.

I am at work, and I was kinda productive for a little, but now I am back to being unproductive and sunday-lazy so I'm going to write my status report and leave soon. Hemant came in with some friends to show them the view from the 8th floor and he was like "what, you're doing work? You must have a big conscience."

However, I did go make a Mariners userpic for entries like "Dammit, 7-5 in the 10th inning... bases loaded with one out... WTF?"

EDIT>
Also, I was looking at tickets for Mariners games and I could get a single seat REALLY close to the field if I get a single ticket on Wednesday Jul 30th. Which is my one-year mark of living in Seattle. It's so tempting to just go for it and go to the game alone... I *really* want to sit in incredibly good seats like that for a game someday, but I just don't know anyone else who'd be willing to pay $45 for a seat... so maybe I should just do it myself? I dunno. (No, Mark, this is the week after the game we were looking at. Also, we should go buy tickets I think...)

Yeah, so Tanya rented out Lanwerx for Charlie's birthday... so I'm sitting at a computer there typing this. I can see Keevon and Pale-Charlie playing MAX2, Casey and Ray are playing some GCN game, Foy and his friends are on the PIU Premiere 2, the Portland guys are playing SSBM... and best of all Fuj and Cory and Ryan are down here from Canada! How weird. I just kinda thought it'd be funny to type out an entry while sitting somewhere not my home computer and not my work computer.

I guess I can talk more about today, anyway. Woke up late, wrote those other entries while at home and/or work. Then I went straight to Red Robin in Bellevue (I called Tanya like "I'm in Bellevue... where the heck is Red Robin???") There were a ton of people there. Like I said, Fuj and Cory and Ryan are here, and Jeff and Stephen are still in town from Portland, and I ended up sitting with Ryan, Ray, Keevon, Nykkel, and the Portland guys. Nykkel lost his voice so I didn't really talk to him much :( ("Where's your voice?" "If I knew, I wouldn't be talking like this, right?") Other people there were Amber and Laura and that AlphaConquerer guy, and Dylan and Rayna, and both Charlies and I'm totally blanking on the rest. Casey and Edgars and Edgars's roomate showed up at the end, and they all came down to Lanwerx with us.

Haha, Tanya is also updating LJ from two desks down from me :)

Yeah, so anyway, I got to talk to people at dinner, and then we got here and lots of games are set up. All the arcade stuff is on freeplay and people brought bunches of consoles, and IIDX and SSBM and whatnot. I've been trying to just play a lot of free DDR, and I played some IIDX and I ate some cake. We have a LOT of cake.

Oh yeah, and the present I got for Charlie was a copy of Apples to Apples. I think he seemed really happy with it, and now I don't have to worry about not wanting to bring it to parties :)

You know, Lanwerx doesn't seem so bad when it's full of all your friends. :)
