Hollow Wean (sigh)

I got dressed up at work in my ren fest outfit, for giving out candy. I was I think the only adult dressed up on my floor. Whee. A whole bunch of kids stopped by though and I got rid of a whole bunch of candy; it was exciting. My officemate brought in his four kids and they were funny.
I worked on some stuff, and gave donuts to people, and worked on more stuff, and kinda snapped at George-the-nice-guy-who-works-around-the-corner, which makes me feel bad - maybe I can find a non-dumb way to apologize, since he was just complimenting my costume. lurker and kitanaor's apartment! Whee!
I was feeling kind of shy but things went pretty well. There were, I guess, like 8-12 people there at one point or another. We played some Fluxx, and then some people went to watch movies while the rest of us played Kill Dr. Lucky. Games always make me loosen up a little, and havingaquatwo next to me making bad puns made me loosen up even more, probably more than I should have - I said a lot of dumb stuff. But I think it was ok. It was a fun game, and people were pretty nice. The guy next to me (Grady?) sounds JUST like someone back east, and I totally couldn't place who, but I kept shutting my eyes to try to think, "if I heard this voice, who would I usually picture sitting there?" it was weird. Everyone in our game was really nice though. And there were two kitties! And Monty Python silliness on TV! (After all these years, I have finally become desanitized from it.) And I got to have some yummy pumpkin pie, and some pizza, and that was good since I'd barely eaten anything all day except candy and donuts. :) Then I caught a ride home with two of their friends (Josh and Serih?). All in all it was a good evening and I am really glad I went - thanks for the party!
I came home and played 2 hours of IIDX without noticing it go by at all. Wow. I've played almost every song in 5th Style beginner now, and I've only not beaten one - Absolute. And the last time I played it I had 78% at the end. I even beat DXY! on my first try. Heh. Ride on the Light and Tengoku no Kissu and Mobo Moga and Shining Polaris and all are wonderful songs. It's so cool to be able to pass lots of stuff. Whee!
God, up till 2:30 again. I am SO doomed.
