I am still awake because I have spent most of the last four hours curled up in a ball of stomach pain, discomfort and nausea. I didn't actually throw up, although I felt several times like I was going to. I'm not even entirely done with the episode yet, but I'm finally at the point where I can sit up straight and not feel like I need to curl up in order to not die. Ugh.

Usually I would get paranoid about the whole random-stomach-pain thing, but this time I think it was just my EXTREMELY bad choice of eating today. I had a big O sub from the O for lunch, with fries, and enchiladas for dinner at Ralph and Lori's, along with fudge pudding cake for dessert. I've been feeling sort of stuffed and yucky for most of the day, so it's not too surprising that I had a bad-stomach-pain evening. Of course, I don't know if most people have FOUR HOURS of bad stomach pain when this happens, but... ugh. I am afraid to call the doctor, because I stopped taking the medicine she recommended to me a while ago (it was for acid reflux, but was making me feel kinda wacky).

I finished reading How Much for Just the Planet? while in my pain-and-convulsing stage, at least, so now I can give it back to Dan. I should acquire my own copy of it sometime though, it was pretty amusing.

Today was good aside from stomach pain. We played D&D. It got started late due to Kyle and Kon being really late, but it was fun. I am really into my character, even if she is not as broken in combat as Isaac (hasted, flying, blessed, etc - had an AC 30 and a +15 to hit and did 2d8+12 four times a round... we were basically kinda just picking off random enemies and standing behind his character so he could beat them all up). I had fun though. We managed to only kill one of the three captives from last time - It was like, "ok, we tie up those two poorly, and kill the last guy." "How do you kill him?" "I keep telling him to name his co-conspirators, and when he fails, I keep punching him in the face and repeating that until he dies." I love not being a good character for once.

After D&D, I walked to Wean 4623, where a DDR event was happening. It was pretty sparsely attended. Angel and Rebecca were there, and Bayani (who ran it), and Sam, and Sam's DDR pads. I went there with Kevin Shiue and John McCall, and John watched people play for a while and Kevin and I did sets (R+A were doing sets together, and S+B, although Bayani and I did Kick the Can Maniac for fun). Kevin's getting good for someone who barely plays. Sam's pads are cool, because he took plywood and did the whole home-mod thing, but they are kinda sucky because they're not as responsive and my feet hurt after slamming them into wood so much.

I only stayed for 45 mins or so. I was worried about playing too much DDR and getting sweaty, since when my hair is in so many braids it is a BIG pain to wash. I think I will leave them in for Monday, and then take them out Tuesday maybe. We'll see.

We went to Sunday dinner, where I got to play with kittens more and try out the game Chez Dork. I think it is a lot of fun if you've read all/most of Dork Tower to "roleplay" your character in it. I was Igor. That was fun. Oh yeah, and Dani asked me how to properly read translated manga, with his copy of Vampire Princess Miyu. The translators were on crack and didn't reverse it, and it was already incoherent to begin with...

Ok... hopefully I will relax enough to get to sleep sometime before 5am. Then I will wake up and go figure out when to go home to Philly, and will hopefully finish writing some cover letter stuff, and then go to KGB and Kiltie Band. Whee!

...and the stomach still won't let me sleep. Urgh.
