Whoa.

We (Amazon) just hired the guy (Udi Manber) who wrote the algorithms textbook I used in 15-451 (Algorithms) at CMU, as our Chief Algorithms Officer. Is that fucking weird or what?

I didn't even know there was such a thing as a "Chief Algorithms Officer".

Do you have such things as subordinate algorithms officers or an algorithms department?
