I also have 6 packs of Pirates of the Spanish Main, never opened.


Most of these I'm willing to part with for very cheaply (in some cases for free). I'm still trying to determine if it's worth trying to sell some of the rarer ones on Ebay or elsewhere.

Having so many unopened games makes me very depressed, really. In a lot of cases they were games I liked playing with other people, bought my own copy, and... never had a reason to actually HAVE my own copy.

Samurai swords!

That one is going to be interesting to decide what to do with as I have noticed that copies of it online are selling for like $100, so it's definitely not in the pile of "give away for free". Have you actually played it before? It's a looooooooong game which is why I never opened it despite playing a bunch during college.

I haven't, but J has and he likes it a lot. :)

We play really long games (some 10+ hours) semi-regularly so the length of play time was never an issue.

Yeah, if you like long strategy games with lots of pieces it's pretty good. Lots of cool little swordsmen and stuff. AND if you want to learn feudal Japanese geography it's relatively accurate (I was surprised by how many JAPANESE people can't name the 9 han of the original Kyushu). I mean, it's a good game, I'm just fairly sure that I'm never going to play it again.

So the thing is, I'm not sure exactly what a fair thing to do is if you guys want it -- it's waaaay out of print, so it's one I definitely want to sell rather than give away. If you're still interested, what's a fair way to determine a price?
