Most of these I'm willing to part with for very cheaply (in some cases for free). I'm still trying to determine if it's worth trying to sell some of the rarer ones on Ebay or elsewhere.

Having so many unopened games makes me very depressed, really. In a lot of cases they were games I liked playing with other people, bought my own copy, and... never had a reason to actually HAVE my own copy.

This is really nice of you! I'm interested in Carcassone the Castle. How much is it? Is this just for local people or can I send you some shipping moneys? Is it big?

Are you coming to Carnival? I could just give it to you then. Or, yeah, I can ship it if you send me shipping money. I have no clue how much it'd actually cost to ship but it can't be THAT bad.

I don't really have a price in mind, I was going to probably list that one at about $10 if I put it up on Craigslist.

It doesn't look like a super-rare game so, if I was putting it on Craigslist I'd also have put it for about $10. I feel kind of bad because I think I received it as a gift, but it's just like, I'm pretty sure that my copy will never get played, so I'd rather have it go to someone who will.

That one is going to be interesting to decide what to do with as I have noticed that copies of it online are selling for like $100, so it's definitely not in the pile of "give away for free". Have you actually played it before? It's a looooooooong game which is why I never opened it despite playing a bunch during college.

I haven't, but J has and he likes it a lot. :)

We play really long games (some 10+ hours) semi-regularly so the length of play time was never an issue.

Yeah, if you like long strategy games with lots of pieces it's pretty good. Lots of cool little swordsmen and stuff. AND if you want to learn feudal Japanese geography it's relatively accurate (I was surprised by how many JAPANESE people can't name the 9 han of the original Kyushu). I mean, it's a good game, I'm just fairly sure that I'm never going to play it again.

So the thing is, I'm not sure exactly what a fair thing to do is if you guys want it -- it's waaaay out of print, so it's one I definitely want to sell rather than give away. If you're still interested, what's a fair way to determine a price?

Yeah, I was using BGG as a reference for how much some of these are probably worth. Is Josh actually getting rid of games? Or you mean that he buys them off there?

I'll possibly list them there when I get back from Japan and can more dependably actually go ship them to people, if friends don't want them first. I'm looking more for them to go to good homes where people will play them, instead of getting good prices (except the rare ones -- I'm still torn on whether to sell Talisman, for example).
