My phone. It has nets.

I feel like a royal retard writing subject lines like that, but there you go. Carl let me use his phone this evening to call T-mobile, and after about half an hour of talking to various people (including one dude who put me on hold for 3 minutes to "find my information about the MDA phone since I've gotten exactly one call about it in the last 6 months"), it has internet. It turns out that what actually happened is that they changed GPRS servers since I last had net on the phone, so I had to shift from some voicestream thing to tmobile. And now it works! Hooray.

Oren came over this evening and we went to Pasta Bella for dinner with Adam and Rehana (and Carl, who eventually joined us when his bus got there). I had pumpkin ravioli, which intrigued me the minute I walked in and saw it on the specials menu. It was tasty. I got to give Oren the books and FF13 and stuff I bought for him (and Carl pointed out that if I was smart, I would have picked up several copies of FF13 and sold them here and made a fortune), and then we played Tichu for a bit, and ate some more of my crazy Japan sweets (this time, cakes from Obama City). It was good to see everyone again, hopefully we can have a games day or something while I'm still in town.
