As for the rest of the week...

Wednesday, I went to volleyball at the Minato-ku Labor Hall, with Tokyo Gaijins. We only had 6 people show up, which sucked, because only two of us were girls, and all of the guys there basically had this attitude of "I don't set girls, they can't hit", so I was basically stuck on a team of 3 that was playing like a team of 2. After an hour of this, and just feeling like it was ridiculous, and I was ready to punch someone, I just gave up and went home, figuring I could much better spend the time studying or working on job apps or something. Seriously, they sent out email about next Wednesday's session and RSVPing and I'm kinda torn -- on the one hand I really want to play vball, on the other hand I don't want to be with a group of people who are going to play around me just because I'm female. Jerks.

Man, the week is becoming fuzzy already because I can't remember what I had for dinner when I got back here. I think it was tempura from Tenya. I remember that Friday's dinner was from Yokado. I think Thursday was actually KFC. Yeah, it's been a vaguely unhealthy week in general. On the other hand, when searching for the new location of fruit salad, I noticed that Yokado actually sells vegetable salads for not entirely ridiculous prices, so I'm thinking that'll be a dinner sometime this week.

Thursday evening was spent working on a job app and studying.

Friday evening was spent trying to study but mostly being mentally incapable of doing anything after a long week. So I played puzzle pirates instead.

On another note, tonight after I wrote that last entry, I watched The Zen of Bobby V. What a great movie! It's so weird, even though it was only 2007, it's like an entire different world. That was when I first moved here, though I was well familiar with the teams already, of course. But I mean, I went to games in Chiba that year... how weird. And it was before the front office started all their stupid shit. What great timing that the ESPN kids managed to go there and take that movie that year, seriously, before everything turned to crap.
