Touristing again
Except I suck at touristing.

jccw is in Tokyo for the weekend on his way back to Chicago from Ishikawa, so today we hung out. He came up to Akabane Station, we dropped his stuff off here, then went around town... first to Shinjuku for okonomiyaki and skyscrapers. We hung out at the top of the Metropolitan Building for quite a while, then ended up going to Harajuku and the Meiji Jingu shrine, which I hadn't bothered trekking to in quite a while. It's still the same though. Sat at the cafe there, then decided to walk to Shibuya... where we basically saw the Hachiko statue and then got on a subway train to Ueno.
From Ueno, we looked for stuff to eat, which resulted eventually in the Anrakutei in Okachimachi (yes, I seem to have had yakiniku three times this week! YUM YUM YUM okay I should probably not eat it again for a bit). From Okachimachi we walked to Akihabara, where I basically went through every arcade on the main drag hoping to find Block People to show it to James, but failed.
So we took a train back here.
Now he is going to sleep on a futon in my dining room, and I am up here writing this. I need to go to sleep ASAP though as I have to wake up around 7am to go to an orientation thingy at 9:30 in Shibuya for the summer job thingy I'm doing for the first half of August.
