Bleh
Today was supposed to be my kaitensushi day this week, but I think something in the school lunch today didn't agree with me (seafood curry, not a surprise really) because around 4:30 I just started feeling really lethargic and dizzy. A little nauseous too, but I didn't throw up... but I was worried I might not make it home, I could barely move, so I just bought some food at the bakery, came home, turned on the AC, and collapsed for an hour or so. When I came to, I felt a lot better, so I ate my food and started doing laundry.
(Funny side story: a week or two ago I was in a train station bathroom, waiting in line to use a stall, and a woman came in, looked to be early 20'sish. She looked kind of unhappy, and well, she had her hand over her mouth, and I realized after a bit that she was trying really hard not to throw up. Everyone in the line knowingly just stepped aside and let her go ahead. Come to think of it, I've never seen women throwing up on a train platform, but I have seen men throwing up several times.)
There seem to be a pair of stray cats that have decided my laundry room is a good place to live. I've heard them meowing off and on the last few days, but today when I went to do laundry, I opened the door, and WHOOSH these two cats ran and ducked under the wall to escape. (My laundry room is outdoors, incase I've never mentioned that.) Not really sure what to do about this per se except maybe to try to scare them away...
Ironic moment of the day: we're doing self-introductions now with the 1st-year students, and so they have to make up stuff like "I'm so-and-so, I'm from Arakawa, I'm in the volleyball club, I like peaches, I'm good at volleyball, I'm friendly. Thank you." or something like that.
One girl wrote the following sentence: "I'm good Englesh."
Even better, one of my co-teachers actually signed off on this students' paper as being correct. WTF. My best guess is that said teacher only listened to people and didn't actually read anything.

Or only one, that's even more possible.
