whaaaatever.

Well, in theory I didn't plan anything tonight because I thought I'd be going to a welcome/goodbye drinking party with the teachers from my school, but apparently somewhere a message got crossed and so one of my co-English teachers basically told me to go home at 5pm, that I didn't "have to" come to the party. I am more bothered by this than one might think, especially after being told (by friends, not by people at the school) that going to such events is very important for Japanese company/etc life.

I thought about going to Seibu, but it's COLD out. And I'm going Saturday and Sunday anyway.

School lunch today was spaghetti, which wasn't all that bad. It resulted in my 2nd-years having a 5-minute discussion about "I like spaghetti", which is about the extent of what they can say anyway.

I suppose I have now survived two weeks of junior high school. Yay.

Unfortunately, for some reason the principal seems convinced that I am supposed to come work during summer vacation. I am fairly sure I am not. We might have a rather large argument over this come July. Or I can just call my company now and have them argue.

I wanted to watch the Fighters game in the evening but Yahoo Douga was super-choppy. I am actually vaguely suspecting it's a problem with my computer, as my computer has been sluggish as all hell lately. It's dumb, but my dad would have had like ninety bazillion diagnostic things to tell me to run on it. Alas. Instead I watched the Dragons-Giants game on terrestrial TV for a bit. The Giants won, which sucked. At least the Fighters won their game too. I should have probly been working on a "Mack Attack" sign for Makoto Kaneko, but have been lazy.

My sunburn from last weekend is getting into the annoying stage where it's giving me hives. I had totally forgotten about that problem of mine.

Polo shirts cost like $20 at Uniqlo! Grar! I need a few more to wear to school but really don't want to toss out that much money right now :(
