Started reading a little bit of Odd Man Out before I went to sleep. Now it's 6am and I just finished, because I couldn't put it down.
I can easily say this is the best (baseball) book I've read in the last several years, probably since Fantasyland. Seriously. Amazing book. There just aren't that many minor league pitchers who went to medical school after getting released from baseball, and certainly none who can tell a story anywhere near as well and as intelligently.
