I'm offering you my body, and you're offering me semantics?

interest vectors take two - now [personal profile] jcreed is still #1 on my list, but [profile] dvarin has at least shown up on it, and I'm #1 on his list :)

anyway, today - I got up, I played DDR for an hour, doing all maniac songs - I am going to build up stamina if it kills me. At 2 or so, rjmccall showed up, and a little after that, agh and bkane showed up. We ordered some food, and then started our Kevin-Smith-a-thon. I knitted through the whole thing - now I have 90% of a sock for Eli. We started with Dogma because I've seen that one the least. It was better than I remembered it. We watched Mallrats next. Around the beginning of it [personal profile] jcreed came over too. It was also still silly and funny. By the time Mallrats was over it was like 7pm and getting dark. We put on Clerks. [personal profile] eub came home in the middle of Clerks. After the movies were over, Eli and Jason computer-music-geeked together. This made me really happy - I had forgotten that Jason had never seen Eli's setup before and I don't have that many friends that can really appreciate the computer music geekery that is Eli. Eventually everyone left and went home. Now I am here sorting out onliney things. I should email more of the people in Seattle - since we'll be going there Wednesday morning and all. I think Megan will somehow take care of getting us from the airport and we'll be staying with her (YAY! Megan!) but I want to see the rest of you as well. I don't have current emails for everyone though - should I just use the livejournal ones? (specifically [profile] seanmcguire, [profile] ezzie00 and [profile] alegria_a. I've managed to get in touch with [personal profile] jeliza a bit, although I should make more concrete plans with you and all)

Come visit us! :) alegria at nw adiletta dot com

I've been talking to Megan about good times to get together, as our weekend went FWOMP and got filled up three weeks ago. Choices are dinner Friday night or early lunch and a bit of gaming on Saturday morning before our DnD group at 2:30pm. Are you bringing your camera? If so, can I bribe you to take a "family photo" of us and our kitties? :)

Well for pictures of our kitties and seeing our house, it'll have to be Friday evening. Dance lesson is over at 5:30pm, so we'd be home by six. We could meet up at our house (does Megan have a car?), play with kitties, then go out to dinner. I think Ezzie is interested in trying more sushi again, but I haven't ever tried it so I'm still hung up on the squick factor. Maybe there's a restaurant with sushi and "normal" food? Or if you like beer there's about 6 microbreweries in the greater Seattle area. :)

well, short answer here....

1) The sushi place Josh and i liked is by our house (85thish street). One of the reasons we liked it is that they had what i thought was good sushi, and what Josh thought was good Teryaki. It was a more varied menu than some other places. I do not, unfortunately, know of a good sushi place near Bothell. We could eat down here, and then head north afterwards.

2) I *think* Friday night would be better for us than Saturday anyway. Unfortunately, our weekend has been complicated somewhat because Josh's parents have decided to come over this weekend. I'm not sure when they'll arrive, but i think that we (or at least Josh) should probably go out for at least one meal with them.

3) Dee, i think Josh will pick you up, but i still need your flight info.... Will you recognize Josh? (I have a class in the afternoon tomorrow, and since i missed the first one for opening day yesterday....)

Dinner at that place sounds good, as I'm fine with teriyaki for dinner. That way Ezzie can try more sushi if he wants too. :) Then maybe we can come visit our house and see kitties and possibly hot-tub if people are interested.

Whee!

Ohh! I wish I could have come! I love Kevin Smith movies. I just saw Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back this weekend. I liked Dogma more (it's my favorite), but it was good in it's own way.
