today, yokohama
I had an interview today in Yokohama, at another international school. I liked the place and the people a lot, but the timing might not work out. We'll see. It was very close to Yokohama Stadium, which would be nice, but the hour and a half commute might suck, so I might have to move if I get it, but I'll worry about that if the time comes. I even stopped in at the Baystars store on the way there and got two pinbadges -- ended up with Ohnishi and Miura, both of which I already had. Doh. The lady in the shop was kind of giving me this look like "what is this crazy white girl in a suit doing buying pinbadges," so I talked to her a bit and explained that I was a huge Takuro Ishii fan and never managed to get one of his pins last year. I kind of hoped maybe she could somehow trade them for me, but... alas.
But yeah, I suppose I left my house at 12:30 and got home around 5:30 and had a 2-hour interview. The good part is that the train ride there/back is actually pretty good given the timing, easy to get a seat, so in theory I could just bring the mini-HP and use the train time for other stuff anyway. Eh.
I bought some dinner at the Sunmerry bakery -- finally, curry bread!! -- and then didn't leave home for the rest of the evening. I did laundry, and now my clothes are hanging up all over my room inside because it's so damn cold outside. I dried one shirt under my kotatsu just to see if it'd work :) I cleaned up my room a bit too, so now I'm even using the laptop on top of my tray stand instead of on top of the kotatsu, because my back was starting to hurt the other way.
Not sure what else to say. Tomorrow's a national holiday and in theory I'm going to go be a train geek, hopefully.
