Pittsburgh Sunday

Got up and went to lunch with [profile] firearmofmutiny (who doesn't live here but was nearby for a sporting event yesterday and came into town to hang out) and [profile] sorakirei (who does live here but who I hadn't seen in a couple of years). They came here, picked me up, we went to the Waterfront and got Fuddruckers!! wheee. The Eagles game was on and they won, and in the meantime the three of us ate lunch and hung out.

Came back here, watched the Steelers game with [profile] rmitz and [profile] qiika and [profile] csg87. [profile] mj2q came by after a bit too, and we were also joined by Joanna, and the Steelers won! So that was fun. Plus dudes kept knocking down cameramen, much to my amusement. ROFLSBERGER.

People started playing Rock Band afterwards, and Mark and I were left out, so I convinced him we should go get dinner. I did play 2 songs on the drums on Rock Band... the Drummania skill set kind of transfers over but the drumkit feels weird to me. I'm not really sure it's my thing. (Still not willing to hurt my wrists on another guitar game.)

We went to Mad Mex. It was good. I got to catch up with Mark. The latest incarnation of the Mad Mex Beer Cheese Sauce was kinda spicy but thin, which was kind of silly.

I'm zoning in and out of consciousness.
Gonna head to campus tomorrow afternoon and take things from there, I think.

Were you playing on a standard issue RB drum kit? Having played actual drums, I can tell you that kit is weird. Crash should not be where floor tom is, hi hat should not be where hi tom is, and having ryde double as open hat is extra weird. If you're still in town, come by my place. I have the Ion.
