Okay, I survived
I'm in Pittsburgh, at ![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
rmitz and qiika's place. My flight was uneventful; I napped for half of it and read Freakonomics for the other half.
My flight was 25-30 minutes late, and then Roman was also 20 minutes late to the airport because the Squirrel Hill entrance to 376 got closed down in the snow. Whoops! No big deal though, I wasn't really in a hurry, and definitely grateful for a ride in this weather. We came back here, where I found people playing Rock Band (including Meg-the-apparently-young andjameel), and then people hung out talking. Now I am upstairs on the laptop and really should sleep, but the half nap on the plane is, as usual, screwing up my sleep desire.
Also, their house is huge. I'm staying in the attic, which isn't really an attic so much as a top apartment, really! Pretty amazing.
Random anecdote: I had been thinking the Pittsburgh airport bathrooms were remarkably clean compared to every other airport/terminal I've been in recently, and while washing my hands a lady cleaning the mirrors actually walked by, so I told her so. She smiled this huge smile and said my comment made her evening. Being nice is nice?
Anywheeeee. Games atblk's later tonight! No idea who's actually on her games list or if I'm authorized to invite anyone but I'm sure something could be arranged :) I really want to play Tichu and stuff sometime.

We go to Fuel every couple of nights. It's kind of hard to predict? We tend to meet in WeH 5207 at 10:20 or so. There is usually chatter about it on irc.freenode.com #cslounge beforehand. (I'm slightly afraid of mentioning the channel around the Old People, since it's very much the opposite of -c cslounge in terms of old versus young people. :-) Also it's full of the 4chan...)
