quick update
I'm going back to Philly in the morning. Infact I get on a train in 5 hours which means I get up in like 3 hours or less so my stepfather can drive me to Fredericksburg (it's not the nearest station, but at least we know how to get there, and he has to be up in that area tomorrow morning anyway). Ah well. Gonna sleep on the train, yo.
Left my camera battery chargers at my brother's house :(
I'll see him on the 28th and get them back but MAN that sucks. Guess I won't be taking photos of much this week. I do have an extra charged battery for the D200 but I hate lugging that thing around.
Had good BBQ for dinner tonight! We went to a place in Ashland called The Smoky Pig or something like that, with a bunch of my stepfather's friends. Man, it's really bad for me, but nothing like a plate of North Carolina smoked pork and beef BBQ with some baked beans and mashed potatoes, hush puppies as appetizers, and a hot fudge brownie sundae for dessert... holy smokes, pun intended. I better get out of this country soon before I gain back all the weight I lost in Japan.
Anyway, I guess I'm offline until I'm back in Philly.
I scanned in a whole bunch of old pages from 1980's Phillies yearbooks and some older (my mom seriously has baseball yearbooks going back to 1959). I found an old book with autographs from Von Hayes and Brian Propp that I got at a neighborhood West Coast Video in 1989... I think I was too shy to talk to Von Hayes because he was my favorite player at the time (I have a photograph of him that I think I took and he's smiling like "stop being scared of me, kid"), but the Propp signature actually says "To Deanna". Wow. Next page of the photo album is my brother with Ron Hextall at a neighborhood signing though. The 80's were fun. :)

I do remember him playing a little bit. Watching Hextall was awesome growing up.
