hoagie whee
Well, I expected to wake up today with really painful legs and feet from ballroom dancing Sunday night, but as it is the only damage seems to be the pad of my right foot. Hrm.
Unfortunately I still woke up very late -- being time-shifted is frustrating. I actually set my cellphone to wake me up, but set it for AM instead of PM, whoops.
So, I went to Lee's Hoagie House today! Yum yum! It was a nice trek out to West Philly, and man, it's amazing to get a 2-foot hoagie for $12 that is so damn good. I also got more birch beer, and came home, and my dad and I split the hoagie and it made me so happy.
It's kind of funny how, basically, I just kind of pick out random foods around Philly that I really like and miss, tell my dad I want that kind of food, but he usually has no energy to really go anywhere, so he gives me money, I go and get the food and bring it back here and split it with him. So this way I get to eat lots of yummy stuff, and I get to feel like I'm helping my dad, and at the same time, I get to leech food without feeling like a leech. Yay.
Also, we watched Jeopardy and Wheel, and that guy who had been owning for a week lost (kind of a shame, I liked him). Funnier -- the final Jeopardy question was finally something I actually knew and he didn't (they asked about which actress wrote and directed and acted in her own movie in 1983, something like that, and I'm like "Streisand, yo" and my dad's like "what?" and sure enough, it was for Yentl).
Tomorrow I'm going to a Flyers game! Yay!

You know, I'm trying to eat healthier, but the food in Philly may be worth an exploratory trip one of these days.
