Wednesday

I fell asleep last night around 1am without updating... just laid down on my futon in full clothes and jeans and everything and zonked out, woke up when my cellphone buzzed from email at 7:30am. Oops... went back to sleep, got up at 10:30. I'm really tired lately.

My dad connected his Skype program to the TV signal for the Phillies game so we are watching it together :) Unfortunately I have to go to work pretty soon but the Phils are up 5-1 and it seems fairly unlikely they will choke THAT much... wow, this is nuts. Phillies in the World Series! I just hope the Fighters can do this too!

(Funny: Shane Victorino makes two consecutive "Holy shit" catches and I'm like "Hey, he's pulling a Hichori" and then a guy lines out to second and Chase Utley makes a diving catch snag and I'm like "whoa, that was a total Kensuke". Now if only the Fighters had a Ryan Howard on the team... sadly all we have is Terrmel Sledge :)

(I wonder if showing a very sad Alyssa Milano is the same as showing a very sad Kazuhiro Kiyohara? Hahaha)

Anyway, yesterday... one of my classes gave me a Japanese bag as a present (not sure what I'll do with it but it would actually make a PERFECT gigantic dice bag). The others... one of my old students actually came by and signed up to go to my farewell party but I was too busy with class to say hi to him. 9pm I finally got to do this article I'd wanted to do with them but they derailed the conversation and we didn't finish it. That's okay though.

I brought more stuff over to the Akabane house in the afternoon. I really haven't done that enough.

I stayed at work until midnight doing random stuff and paperwork and whatnot. Bleh.

you were mentioned at the party last night (a Dee was mentioned, it had to be explained it wasn't you, then the discussion briefly got sidetracked into looking up who'd won the game; then we went back to economics and politics and all that).
