sunday, sep 7
depart tokyo 11:30am
arrive nagoya 13:13pm
the plan:
get to nagoya, and hopefully spend the afternoon doing something fun (karaoke?) with
kawaru and/or
teravell, until
the2belo gets into town, then 名古屋ドームに詰め掛ける and all that stuff, probly sometime around 5pm or so, for a 6pm game.
watch dragons and baystars both suck hopelessly at baseball, and be happy with whatever the result is, in all honesty.
after game -- eat miso katsu or something like that and waste time until the moonlight nagara? or, go hang out and crash on someone's couch until the morning and take a train back to tokyo then? i don't know. i kinda want to be at a baseball game in tokyo at 2pm on monday, see. either ENEOS or JFE Higashinihon WILL be in the tournament semifinals and I will have guys to stalk.
i am bad at planning.
crap, I still need to make a hotel reservation for Osaka later this month, and figure out what I'm doing on the 23rd exactly.
Oh, also, man, registering for the JLPT was a pain in the ass. Turns out the post office doesn't do payments past 4pm so I ended up having to figure out how to pay my form via the ATM, then went back to GEOS to photocopy everything, then came back to the post office, and had to fill out a whole bunch of forms to pay for certified mail or whatever the hell 配達記録郵便 is. but, whatever. now i suppose there's nothing left to do but try to study and mostly feel hopeless.
PS -- Masa 204! And a double too. Only problem is this means the only Dragons pitcher I currently give a shit about is not going to be starting on Sunday. Maybe we'll get Nakata after all...

on the other hand, the Yokohama Baystars are HISTORICALLY bad this year, so we'll see what happens. They kinda replaced the Dragons for me as my CL team this year though -- if I wasn't going to the game with you guys I would totally just go sit in the Yokohama cheering section probably ;)
so anyway, will afternoon karaoke be a possibility? i don't really have any other goals in nagoya besides visit people, watch baseball, eat miso katsu. that's pretty much what i usually do there.

where is a good place to meet up? do you know any karaoke box places near the Nagoya Dome (Ozone station or whatever it is)?

What time do you want to get to the staduim?

I'll see what Laura's up to in the afternoon. She likes karaoke and also sings in Japanese (we're gonna go L'arc on you), but has to come in from Gifu.
PS -- did you learn any HY so i can harmonize with you? preferably AM11:00 :) (or... anything else we could harmonize to?)

this weekend I'm going to Nagoya and then watching the industrial league baseball semi-finals, next weekend I'm going to like FOUR baseball games in two days hopefully, and on the 21st I'm going down to Osaka.
i might have a few afternoons free here and there but overall, i don't have a full free day per se until sept 28 or 29.
