okay, so it's like 12:15am, and I am supposed to get on a train in 7 hours to go to the airport, wihch means leaving my apartment in less than 7 hours. and in that time i am supposed to pack and sleep and all...
going to kyushu! yay!
but packing is kinda difficult. I only want to take one bag, but with my laptop and camera and all that's kind of a pain. I think I can cram it all into one bag like I did in Sapporo though.
I thiiiiink my plan is
Saturday: go to Hiroshima for the evening Carp-Baystars game. I wonder how early I can leave Fukuoka... can't check into the hotel until 2pm supposedly but I wonder if I can leave my bags there nonetheless?
Sunday: see Marines-Hawks in Fukuoka Yahoo Dome, then hang out in the city for Sunday night and wander around
Monday: see Hawks-Dragons minor-league game for a bit in the afternoon, then Hawks-Fighters in the evening at the Dome
Tuesday morning: come back to Tokyo, go to work
Tuesday night: hang out with Shiguma before he leaves Japan for good
Wednesday: fall over from exhaustion?
as for the last two days...
not all that much to say, honestly. I mean, there's work, and I didn't do much exciting afterwards. I've been staggering under the weight of trip planning and whatnot and catching up on things and whatever.
today, I had a new student -- a 9-year-old boy. I was terrified of putting him in with the 9-year-old girl who is REALLY good at english, but... so far so not bad. they seem to be nice to each other, at least, although he spends time talking in Japanese in class, so eh.
I did laundry tonight after work and I also went to Ito Yokado to get a pair of capri pants since I literally have like... one or two pairs of shorts and it's gonna be HOT in Kyushu.
arrrrrgh.
oh yeah, and I heard Randy Pausch died. That sucks. I had been checking his page regularly to see if there were updates, and I guess I was right that the lack of updates was a bad thing.
there are a lot of random thoughts in my brain lately, but I never really remember them when going to update LJ -- it's always like "huh, what did i do? what can I write that is interesting?" And like, my life is interesting, in its own way, but not in a way that comes across in LJ.
