...and Tuesday
Oren stopped in Tokyo yesterday for a day on his way back to Seattle. He got to Akabane a bit before me, and we met up for lunch and went to Heiroku, and hid in the back and talked in English. But the old sushi chef wasn't there so he didn't have an opportunity to make fun of me. Yay.
I had my normal workload for the afternoon coupled with a paperwork task that really freaking sucked, and wasn't even my fault (I had to basically recreate attendance records for one of Jon's students). Then I had classes at 6-7-8-9. They were fun though, I think. One of my students, it was her last day with me, she's going off to be a high school exchange student in America in like 3 weeks. Exciting!
Then after work, Oren came by again, and we went to Anrakutei (aka "the cursed yakiniku place") and had yakiniku, and then I stopped by his hotel and he gave me the advertisement and baseball card he received when he went to Koshien on Monday. (DUDE!) I still haven't opened the card packet. I kind of want to wait until I'm with either a Hanshin fan friend or a baseball card fan friend. Or both (hi Pau). We'll see what happens.
I got home around 12:30am and just zoned out. That happens a lot lately I guess. The plumbing in my apartment is being weird and I'm trying to figure out where exactly to put the cleansing chemicals (I mean, it smells worse AFTER I flush the toilet than before). I think I figured it out, but only time will tell.
