Go away rain! GO GO AWAY!
Rain rain rain rain rain rain rain GO AWAY!
Yeah, so today was Tuesday. I decided to get Heiroku sushi for lunch for a change (usually I go Wed/Fri, but tomorrow I'm taking a day off). It was good, and for some unknown reason the younger chef guy ran the register for me, I don't really get why.
Had a lot of stuff to do this afternoon (normal prep, plus making my Intensive Week schedule) and then 4 classes straight in the evening. Worse, all 4 ended up being only one person. But I did have a fantastic time talking to some people. One of my students is going to Sendai for two days for a business trip. He was telling me about this fantastic sponge cake omiyage or something, so I said "That sounds really good. You're going to bring me some on Friday, right?" He was like "Uhh... sure..." I have this feeling you are totally not supposed to ask for omiyage, but at the same time, I don't think you are supposed to TALK about omiyage unless you have some to offer, right?
Played some Pop'n after work for a change. I'm getting rather fond of just doing Random Lvl 26 as an expert course.
Anyway, tomorrow I took the day off! I'm gonna sleep in, then go to Chiba for the Marines-Dragons game. I'll hopefully get to chat with some people (if I'm not too scared) and take some pictures on the field during BP, and then sit in the press box during the game. Wheeee. Well, assuming it doesn't rain out. So dammit, it better STOP RAINING! Grrrr.
I hope the starters are Satoru Komiyama and Masa Yamamoto. That would be the COOLEST THING EVER (they both turn 43 later this season). Really, I just desperately want to be there for a Masa start before he retires. There are two other Chunichi things I really want this year: I want to get my picture taken with Doala, and I want to be there to see Kenshin Kawakami hit a home run.

Also, my mother advised me that my sister Jenny is applying for a government program to teach in Japan. Should I be warning her away or is this good for her?
