Kyushu e ikou!

Came up with a possible baseball itinerary to go to Kyushu and only take off one day of work and still have a worthwhile weekend (with hopefully no rain).

7/27 (Sunday), morning/afternoon: take the 5-hour train ride to Hiroshima
7/27, evening: cheer for the Baystars in Hiroshima
7/27, night: stay over somewhere in Hiroshima
(It'd be nice to see Dragons-Tigers in Osaka instead, but something tells me there's no fucking way I could get a ticket for that game. Plus hey, if I go cheer for the Baystars maybe I will see that crazy dude from Yamaguchi who got me and Anthony seats in the 2nd row last year in Yokohama. And this is the last year for the old Hiroshima stadium, so it'd be nice to see another game there.)

7/28 (Monday), morning: take the 1-hour train ride to Fukuoka
7/28, evening: cheer for the Fighters at Yahoo Dome
7/28, night: stay over somewhere in Fukuoka

7/29 (Tuesday), day: go see Hawks vs. Dragons minor-league at Gannosu Stadium (also near Fukuoka)
7/29, evening/night: take the 6-hour train ride back to Tokyo

No, I'm still not sure when the heck I'll get to Skymark, if ever.
And yeah, this would cost around $400 in train fare alone, but that gives me the freedom to switch things around based on weather. Hell, I could even add a trip to Shikoku in if I wanted :)

Skymark is a beeyotch to schedule. I just got extremely lucky that they were playing a day game the weekend I was at Kyushu, so I just saw the game there on the way home.
