Something I just learned
If it is 1:30am and you are working on a baseball art project and you run out of glitter glue, you are going to have to wait until the next day to get more, because Max Valu doesn't have any and there isn't anything else open 24 hours nearby. I suppose a middle of night glitter glue emergency would be difficult in America too, though.
Uh, so anyway, today... I spent my spare time at work working on said baseball art project, because I want it to be at least somewhat ready for the games on Sunday and Monday. Classes went ok, my 9pm ended up being empty and I spent an hour doing paperwork. Bleh. Played some Pop'n after work at Warabi.
At lunchtime I had sushi (yay!) and then verified that Kaldi Akabane does not actually have any of the awesome stuff that Kaldi had in Urawa-Misono. I guess I should check Kaldi in Diamond City because that's a lot closer to here. Maybe some afternoon this weekend (both evenings will be Fighters games!), we'll see.
Also as it turns out, yes, those waffle syrup thingies my student brought back from Holland are, infact, quite good, and I am a dumbass.
Fighters beat the Dragons 1-0 on Inaba's solo homerun off Kenshin. That was it. Kazuhito Tadano got ejected from the game in the 3rd inning for accidentally beaning Hirata in the head (it doesn't look like it was on purpose, but Japanese baseball has a kikenkyu rule and almost always will eject a pitcher who hits a batter in the head. Shunsuke Watanabe got ejected in the middle of throwing a no-hitter last year).

Seems like every day I'm learning something new about Japan that makes me want to live there...
