I have writer's block.
I feel obliged to finish writing a Marinerds entry about the Royals game last Tuesday. and it's killing me for some reason. It keeps slipping further into the past and I'll pretty much never write it at this rate. Bleh.
So, this morning I got up early as I said, and I got on the train at 12:23. EXCEPT THERE WAS SOME STUPID TRAIN BLOCKAGE and so rather than that train getting me to work at 12:32, I was stuck on it until 12:54 -- so rather than having half an hour when I got there, I had like 5 minutes. But I didn't have any afternoon classes today so it was mostly okay. Good thing it wasn't one of my early days is all.
I went to Heiroku for kaitensushi lunch. On my way in there were a bunch of foreigners leaving, guys in business attire, that was kind of odd. (They also didn't seem to speak Japanese, but they didn't look like English teachers either.) Lunch was good, though I didn't recognize most of the staff there, hence no "hisashiburi" or anything, which I was kinda expecting after being out a week and a half. Also had a pretty slow start and by the time I was leaving of course the belt was full of stuff I like.
Got last week's Shube at the bookstore... I had gotten this week's Shube at the train station before hopping on a train. Now I have LOTS to read! Or something.
Classes today were ok I guess. It's this weird limbo week of being back between my vacation and Golden Week so it's kind of odd. Played Boggle in my 9pm class. It kind of worked but not really. I'm not sure it's really the best game for "conversational" class to be honest, although it's definitely English-related and this class likes games so... eh.
I got some BBM 1st 2008 baseball cards on my way to grab takeout tempura dinner. Wheeeeeeee my first pack I opened had a Dragons champions card and an Ochiai card. Is that a sign or what?
