dr4b | i suck

Carl and I just went in and chatted with Takahashi. She was happy to hear we passed the JLPT. I could barely form a coherent sentence in Japanese though. I was like "well, the test covers listening, and vocab, and kanji, but not speaking, so I suck now." or something to that effect, in Japanese. This is odd because when we were in Japan, speaking was probably my best thing. Blah. She suggested Carl and I do conversation exchanges and got email addresses from us, so we will see what happens. Carl of course can still speak very well, or at least knows a lot more words than I do. I suck. I don't know if it was just the 10am-ness, or the "wow, I haven't seen my teacher in two years"ness, or what, but blah.
