hmm

I can't think of anything to say about today, except that I have still not started packing at all, and now it's like TWO DAYS until I go back.

I put my big set of photos from Sunday's Marines-Hawks game online.

I'm thinking of adding a Nagoya/Gifu trip into my Golden Week plans, going down for the 4/29 Chunichi Dragons baseball game in Gifu, assuming Jeff can get tickets. I think it might be fun to take either local trains or a kodama down on that Monday (local trains take 7 hours, woohoo), stay somewhere, go around Nagoya or Gifu Tuesday afternoon, go to game Tuesday night, and try to take back that Moonlight train thingy [profile] teravell always talks about. Then I will hit a new stadium and like ninety new kinds of trains in one trip! Wheeee! Then a day later I'd be off to Hokkaido! Travel is fun!

Nice photos! I love the ones of Shunsuke, they're unbelievable.

omg, are you kidding? This is art. It's beautiful, makes you feel like you're right there on the field.

I just told A what you said and he chuckled, because I always say the same things. ("this sucks, i need a faster lens")

Sometimes I wonder if our viewpoints are skewed from being inundated with advertising photography that is overly saturated / depth of field-y.

hopefully they actually PLAY in Gifu this year. (Last year's game in Gifu got rained out.)

You're in good company. I've hardly done any packing for my camping trip in Arizona, and I leave in 2 days as well.

I attribute part of this to [livejournal.com profile] starherd not having cleared out the luggage I need (she's been home for two weeks so...), but I gotta get cracking on this soon.

Packing is overrated. Just get a big ol' suitcase, stuff a bunch of random clothes in, you're good.

('course, this is coming from a generally rumpled guy, so take with a grain or ten of salt >;) )

I usually don't pack until the night before (and really can't; both my Japan trips were on days immediately after I had finals, and I use my backpack for traveling too). Just make a checklist, follow it, and you should be good.

Reminds me, I better get around to planning my most likely last Japan trip before attempting to move.
