water water everywhere

I swear to god today was like a freaking typhoon. It was raining and windy and horrible all night and all morning and all afternoon. Infact, I park my bicycle UNDER the staircase here, surrounded by three walls, and it was wet when I was going to work in the morning.

Other than that things weren't too bad though. Saying "Hey, did you see my new baseball?" was pretty amusing, at least from my perspective... although explaining exactly how I managed to end up on the field at Chiba Marine Stadium was not. I told them that I was friends with a friend of Bobby's, which is close enough to the truth, and also told them about the "English Zone" thing that Larry is working on.

It's so weird also being like "I'll see you in two weeks!" to my students. I can't believe I'm going back to America in only a few days. CAN'T. BELIEVE.

One of my students gave me a pile of manga to bring back to America. I'll put it through the Carl filter once I get to Seattle. (I didn't recognize anything except One Pound Gospel, though.)

If you eat at a Costco even once while you're here, I'll be very disappointed. ;)

America..

It was like a typhoon down here too! Today was a day for crappy weather all over Japan, I guess.
