I win, part 2

I stopped by the Kawaguchi arcade after work to play some Pop'n'Music, and decided to also go try some UFO catchers. It took me 3 tries to get this Blue Avex Hello Kitty out of the machine. I was all happy about it until I realized that aside from walking around the arcade for a few minutes with the kitty feeling all proud of myself, what the hell am I going to do with it? This is why I stopped playing UFO catchers in the first place...

This morning, my landlady came over around 10am, and tried poking at the heater unit for a bit, and said "ok, I think tomorrow morning we should be able to get this thing replaced." I'm not holding my breath, but that's mostly because my breath is too cold. No, just kidding.

Though, around 6pm today I had this vague scare that I might have flu or something. Eri and one of her students were in the lobby and I came out of the office and they were like "Why are you so red? Are you ok?" And then I realized my skin did feel kinda hot, and I felt kinda tired, and so on... but, eh, I took some Tylenol and ate a hirekatsu sandwich for dinner and felt a lot better after that.

Bleh, I've been debating with myself about biking over to the 24-hour supermarket for more teabags but I really just don't feel like getting up from under my kotatsu again, plus it's raining outside. I started eating the Goldfish crackers I bought at Costco a few weeks ago, and they kind of suck. What the hell was I thinking? I guess I'll bring them to GEOS and see if I can get anyone to eat them.

It's so cute! *wants*

I hope you feel better soon. This winter season has been pretty hard on so many people.

You don't have to DO anything with UFO catchers. They exist simply to be awesome.
